Use Big Job Industrial Rubber Bands like an extra pair of hands to keep containers tightly closed when not in use; secure protective coverings around sub-assembled or finished goods; hold carton flaps open for picking and packing; group items to be shipped to separate locations; hold breakables gently, without crushing; hold parts together during manufacture; and keep units together during storage. Big Job Bands are made in natural tan rubber unless otherwise specified. |

Other sizes are made-to-order on a minimum order quantity of 200 lbs. per size. "Specials" can be made in any flat length from 7/8" to 40" (1-3/4" to 80" I.C.). Cut widths can be varied from 3/64" narrow to 4" wide on sizes to 12" flat length; sizes over 12" flat length can be cut in widths of 1/4", 1/2", 3/4" and 1-1/2". In addition, colored bands and ozone-resistant bands prepared from Epcar are also available, with minimum order quantities of 300 lbs.

| Epcar Properties |
|
Epcar bands are the answer when your application calls for a heavy-duty band. The built-in resistance to weather and chemicals extends usefulness. Epcar bands have the same qualities of natural gum rubber bands, with the added benefits of longer life and broader usage. Exposure tests and rugged 2,000-hour Weather-O-Meter tests have proven the ozone- and crack-resistant reliability of these bands. Epcar bands resist high ozone concentrates while under stress. Sunlight and weather extremes have little effect. Epcar bands can be used over a wide range of temperatures (from -60 to +300 degrees F, or -51 to +149 degrees C). However, a gradual loss of elastic properties is experienced as the temperature extremes are approached. They continue to provide excellent service when exposed to hot water or steam, with minimal water absorption and loss of elasticity. In addition, Epcar bands resist deterioration from most acids, alkalies, alcohols, glycols, keystones, esters and detergents. Epcar bands are not recommended for use in applications involving hydrocarbon solvents, oil or turpentine.
